Reusable and non-reusable packaging: a comparison of logistic processes
CRIET and Eurepack, a consortium that aims to promote and facilitate the diffusion of reusable packaging instead of non-reusable, have initiated a collaboration to analyze the role of logistics in the business-distribution relationship and the evolution brought about the introduction of reusable packaging.
The research, presented at the CRIET meets event includes ‘Reusable and non-reusable packaging; a comparison of logistic processes’, which intends to strengthen the business-distribution relationship in both one-way and multi-way systems, by examining the role of logistics, the introduction of reusable packaging, the economic, logistical and environmental benefits and the legal, social and political aspects.
The ultimate goal is to help share knowledge and skills and create business opportunities for affiliated companies.
