MIH – MARKETING & INDUSTRY 4.0. OPPORTUNITIES AND RISKS OF AN INNOVATIVE PROGRAM
The Industry 4.0 government program, also by virtue of the important tax incentives, has had the merit of stimulating the interest of companies towards new business models based on technological innovation, capable of storing, processing and analyzing a great amount of unstructured information from a variety of sources, in real-time. The evolution from management based on “reporting” to a management based on “real-time” is among the most important challenges facing the Italian production system.

During the conference, part of the Marketing Innovation Hub, two crucial aspects of the evolution underway in the business models will be addressed: on one hand the concrete potential of a correct real-time factory-market coordination will be illustrated; on the other, the risks presented along the road for the adoption of new business models will be discussed.
