Public lighting and Smart City

Lumière Guidelines

The ‘Lumière’ guidelines represent a methodological and knowledge-based support tool for the purposes of initiating energy efficiency interventions in public lighting facilities.

Structured to respond to the needs and difficulties of public administrators in the management of public lighting, the guidelines aim to support Italian local authorities both in acquiring greater competence in the management of public lighting facilities and in the planning and implementation of actions aimed at upgrading their energy efficiency.

CRIET, for many years partners in the ‘Lumière’ project, the guidelines for which constitute the most important means of disseminating knowledge and information, has collaborated on the planning of the document and its circulation, as well as the drafting of the parts which deal with  issues CRIET has been actively involved with.
