Small and medium-sized firms and the current financial and economic crisis: a statistical perspective

Abstract

From the 2012 survey of the “Osservatorio Impresa Monza e Brianza 2012” we try to shed a light on the behaviour and strategic choices of micro, small and medium sized enterprises to cope with the current financial and economic crisis. The analysis will be conducted with the aim to discover which strategies are more likely to be implemented in the short-term view using the Rasch model for multinomial ordinal response categories.
